Gakeen - magnetico robot è un anime televisivo di genere mecha prodotto dalla Toei Animation nel 1976.
Dei 39 episodi originali, in Italia vennero trasmessi (dal 1980) solo i primi 26 sulle reti TV private.
I restanti episodi sono stati dunque ridoppiati da Yamato Video e pubblicati in VHS prima e DVD poi.
lo stile di "assemblaggio" e nascita del Gakeen ricorda per certi versi quello di Jeeg Robot d'acciaio, in quanto un essere umano (due in questo specifico caso) si trasforma nel componente principale del robot finale.

The remaining episodes were therefore redubbed by Yamato Video and released on VHS first and then on DVD.
The style of "assembly" and birth of the Gakeen recalls in some ways that of Jeeg Robot, as a human being (two in this specific case) is transformed into the main component of the final robot.
